The following course modules are available either individually, grouped or as a complete package:

Water Analysis

This training module covers water analysis issues and starts with a review of standard natural water analysis, which is de-constructed in order to demonstrate how it is built up from first principles; starting with rain (pure water) falling through the atmosphere, soaking into/onto the ground

The course builds from these essential components and goes on to cover the units of analysis, which are explained, as is the significance of the various components for industrial and commercial users.

Water Pre-Treatment

This module covers water pre-treatment technology and has been developed to demonstrate clearly and simply what water pre-treatment processes are available in order to adjust or remove specific constituents of the water analysis, so as to achieve a suitable boiler feed, cooling water make-up or effluent quality.

Water Treatment Industry

This module examines the various market segments of the water treatment industry, reviewing the particular water treatment processes that are commonly utilised by each segment.

Boiler Systems & Surveys

Our boiler systems and surveys training module examines boiler systems, what surveys are required and how to interpret the survey results. In particular, the course covers the survey procedure for assessing steam boiler plant systems with a view to identifying actual or likely problem areas.

Boiler Systems

This specialist training module covers boiler systems and includes a number of worked examples using data collected from a range of boiler system surveys.

It also deals with the design of the final pre-treatment and chemical conditioning schemes necessary for the efficient operation of the boiler system.

The module also includes calculations and estimations of dosage rates required to allow the candidate to calculate and prepare an accurate commercial quotation.
